The built-in seat-step allows a woman or supporter to both sit in the birthing pool while also providing a step to assist entering and exiting the birth pool. The 3 inch (8cm) wide rim on this pool is great for women that like to grip onto it for support. The rim also allows a birth supporter to comfortably sit on the side of the birthing pool. Following the birth of your baby, you may wish to sit on the step and breastfeed the baby for the first time while you are in the birth pool. The Oval birth pool's frame consists of six solid fibreglass panels which are bolted together (no tools necessary). The ground pad, which makes kneeling more comfortable as it cushions and insulates the floor, is placed down first then the liners are placed over the top, then its ready to fill. weight when filled 825kg, 800 litres approx when full, size 66"/168cm long, 48"/122cm wide, 26"/66cm tall.

* We send the most universal tap adapters we can find. Should these not fit your chosen tap, we suggest trying your local DIY store for others. The hose we send is a standard diameter size hose so additional adapters should fit it easily.
* Please note we also need to hold a £50 security deposit for this hire, when booking. This is automatically added when you add this item to your basket. If you would rather pay by cheque please choose this method at Checkout. The deposit is refunded when your pool is received back in good order. Should you have to cancel for a medical reason before your pool is shipped we will refunded your money.

When booking a birthing pool or stool -within 24 hours of your booking we will contact you via telephone or email and confrim the delivery date and details. Delivery can be between 8am and 6pm. The delivery date can be changed to suit you. Please allow to be in all day, up until 6pm even though they may deliver earlier - think of it as an excuse to stay at home and put your feet up!
